Renewable Heat Premium

The government has set aside around £15 million to provide one-off, flat-rate grants for households that install heating systems based on certain renewable technologies. These include solar thermal panels for hot water, heat pumps and biomass boilers. Vouchers are issued ranging from £300 to £1250, redeeemable for cash when the works have been completed.
