Boiler scrappage scheme closes!

On 26 March, the government announced the closure of its boiler scrappage scheme after all 125,000 vouchers had been taken up. This came just 2 months after the launch of the £50 million scheme. Some energy companies who install boilers had been matching the government's offer, and some are continuing to offer their own incentives, including British Gas and npower. So it's worth shopping around for the best deals.
